Project Funding

The Early Buddhist Manuscripts Project is currently funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Support is also provided by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of the University of Washington.

In addition, private donations are helping the project to meet the many costs involved in editing and publishing Gāndhārī manuscripts. For persons wishing to make a contribution, more information is provided on supporting the EBMP at a secure web site.
