Project Funding

The Early Buddhist Manuscripts Project is currently funded a grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Support is also provided by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of the University of Washington. The Dictionary Project has also received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and support from the Center for Advanced Research Technology in the Arts and Humanities.

In addition, private donations are helping the project to meet the many costs involved in editing and publishing these texts. For persons wishing to make a contribution, more information is provided on supporting the EBMP at a secure web site.
